In the pool of people's names, my name Kei is often the shortest and simplest. "Not Just A Letter" emphasizes that my persona, in contrast to the letter "k" hinted by my name, is neither typical nor ordinary. There are exciting (and sometimes out of this world) twists and turns in who I am and what I do. I hope you follow my journey in illustrating myself using an electrifying medley of letters (and a keyboard) as my tool.

"excuse me, isn't this a passageway?" - lalaking/babaeng mataray sa high street

okay... i know , i know.... this blog is endangered... in fact, it's risk of extinction is very high... 2 months? waaa... and it's my lack of time and energy to blog that made it so. but guess what? some kind of miracle happened and for the past weeks, we're not so busy. last week, i recall being busy only on wednesday.... but duh, wednesdays are always hell. but there's always friday to look forward to. who ever said that saturday started the weekend? friday IS the new saturday... haha... and this week, we automatically get 2 days off! moreover, there's field demo practice on monday and tuesday, and i'm SIIGE... haha... that leaves wednesday.... but whatever, my body has already adapted to the heat of wednesday hell... lalalala... i love 4th quarter! and because of this, i might actually be able to blog more... yey!

before i narrate the events of yesterday's very fun events, i want to share this optical illusion first.
what do you see? i bet you see an intimate couple... haha... but do you see 9 dolphins?

muhahaha... i bet not... it took me several minutes to figure out where the freaking dolphins are... according to where i got it, children see the 9 dolphins and not the couple. but not-so-innocent non-children (haha... wat?) see the couple and have a hard time locating the dolphins. young children can't see the couple because they don't have any any memory of intimate couples or anything related to such scenario. so, you're not so innocent anymore. haha... if you can't find the dolphins in 6 seconds, you're mind is corrupted and may need help... tsktsk... waaaaaaa... i can't believe it gave me such a hard time... good luck corrupted minds! (evil laugh) ^_____^
so anyway, back to the events of yesterday... actually a lot has happened for the past 2 months.... but, oh well... it might take me the whole week to tell everything... so i'll just stick to the most recent events.

so anyway, haha.. yesterday started quite peacefully.... who knew such a peaceful start could end with not-so-peaceful events? i woke up and prepared for the play meeting at school. but it turned out to be a PROPS meeting after all... because only props people and guia who were there. anyway, i started helping out anyway and it was a very peaceful working mood for almost 2 hours... with a few laughs here and there, of course. apparently, lisette was hosting a "going to high street and playing frisbee afterwards" gimmick and invited me. i almost didn't go because i haven't asked for permission yet. plus, i didn't have any money nor a mindset on going out. i was looking forward to sleeping the whole day and watching DVDs... haha... but anyway, i made the right decision and asked my mom who allowed me to go, as long as i go home with my sisters at 5. thank God for the 500 hidden in the "emergency flap" of my wallet.

anyway, after a half hour or so, i found myself in lisette's car with lisette (duh), romano, jonas, allan, marc, lance, and lisette's mother and sister. we were dropped off at high street. our 1st stop was food, of course. i was sort of hungry by then because i only ate cereals for breakfast...
they decided to eat at conti's (yes! sosyalan... feeling mayaman e... pero actually poor nmn... haha)... unfortunately, the restaurant was full and there were already 5 groups in the waiting list. we decided to wait (i don't know why).... there were chairs outside for the waiting people... for some weird reason, it was not occupied.... the waiter said that if the other people in the waiting list didn't come when a table was available then we would get it. and this is where the fun began... haha... how do i say this... the chairs were arranged in a manner wherein it surrounded the passageway to the restaurant... it was actually lined in both the left and right sides of the walkway.

so we were there talking about random stuff when this girl or boy (im not sure... haha... kasi nmn e... mukha siyang lalaki... pero may hinaharap... kaso may kaholding hands na girl na may itsura.. o dba nakakalito?) stared at us for like 5 seconds and suddenly blurted out "excuse me, isn't this a passageway?" in a mataray deep voice... ugh... so basic instinct told us to withdraw our feet right away... the truth is we never noticed that it was a walkway... people who were passing by and entering the restaurant was using another direction... it didn't bother me so much that he/she wanted to use that walkway.... it's just that.... the nerve! you could have said excuse me and stopped there... why the need for side comments definitely uncalled for? gosh. and using that deep mataray voice.. haha.. but the heck with him/her... we ended laughing when he/she was gone... someone (i forgot who) even said, "sana pala hndi ko na lang tinabi ung paa ko." haha... we were planning some evil things when he/she walked out of the restaurant... but we decided not to pursue it... haha.. syempre ganyan tlga pag Agustino... magalang pa din kahit na binastos.. yes nmn... application ba ito ng RHGP?

anyway, after 1 hour (ata) of waiting, we finally got a table... and it originally was meant for only 5 people so we were cramped... it was fun anyway... i ordered fish and chips and finished it quite quickly since i was starving by then. we decided not to give any tip for making us wait for an hour and because the waiter didn't "balat" romano's prawns... it was almost impossible to do so because of lack of space... but we ended up giving our sukli as tip anyway..... all is good.. ^_^

after that, we went to krispy kreme for delicious original glazed donuts. and, we had to talk to lisette's church to get transpo to the Army Field where we were to play frisbee... our immediate comment about the Church was "WOW! SOSYALAN!". it had many floors, an elevator, a bookstore, aircon, and many more... apparently, the frisbee thing was a kind of an activity the poeple who go to that Church did every saturday... there were many Augustinians and the parish comminuty was so close... i almost felt jealous... haha... we even saw paulo bediones... LOL....

they provided us free transpo to the field itself... at first, we were hesistant to play because we were shy and we didn't know how plus we didn't know anyone! (yes ang dami excuses e noh). but, the people turned out to be very friendly and fun..... we ended up having the best time.... they taught us how to play frisbee, a surprisingly fun sport. haha... we even participated in a "real" game after much practice.... it turns out most of us had potential.... yes naman....c marc nga nangangarir na agad e...... nagdadive pa? yes naman.... haha..... i was riding home with marc so at 5:50, his mom arrived and we had to go... the final score was a tie - 2-2... i didn't want to leave yet because i was having so much fun and i was meeting many people.
well anyway, that's all for now... hoping i could blog religiously from now on... goodluck to me! :D
