THIS IS A VERY LONG POST MOSTLY ABOUT MYSELF. =)). READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. LOL. MOREOVER, I’M PRETTY SURE THERE ARE A NUMBER OF GRAMMATICAL LAPSES AND MISSPELLED WORDS IN THIS POST BECAUSE I DIDN’T PROOFREAD IT.] ^_~
for the past 2 weeks or so, i've been having a really big dilemma whether to pursue medicine or not. why i have been having doubts? mostly because of my occasional visits to the pinoymd forum. i've read a lot of threads in that forum that opened my eyes to what i need to undergo to become a doctor and what my future is as a doctor. i could say that i did learn a lot from the forum, and i would like to share some of the things i learned that have both encouraged and discouraged me pursue medicine.
first, i learned that contrary to popular belief, rich doctors are the exception not the rule. only 11% of the our country's doctors earn 100,000 pesos or above per month or 1.2 M pesos and above per year. majority of doctors earn less than 30,000 pesos a month.
second, it really does take a really long time. it doesn't end at med school. this is the traditional training that doctors follow : 4 years pre-med -> 4 years med school -> 1 year internship/board exam -> 3-5 years residency/specialty training -> 2-3 years fellowship/subspecialty training
in residency, you choose what specialty you want to take, be it ob-gyne, dermatology, internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, pathology, anesthesiology etc. though it is optional, since you're already already a "general practicioner" once you pass the boards, i'm guessing it's a must if you really want to have a successful career.
next is fellowship. not all specialities have sub-specialty training, though. if you choose internal medicine as a speciality, there are a vast number of sub-specialties such as cardiology, pulomonology, nephrology, and gastroenterology to choose from. if you choose surgery (Grey's fans can relate), you can choose neurosurgery, pediatrics surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery etc. as your sub-specialty. if you choose anesthesiology or ob-gyne, however, it is not necessary to train further.
haha. forgive my need to elaborate. basically, my point is it will be long before rewards come. i learned that in the forum that if, for example, you choose to be lawyer, you would be compensated for your hard work immediately after passing the bar exam. you could earn as much as 100,000 per month on your first job in a law firm especially if you're a bar topnotcher.
after passing the medical board exam, however, the hardship is just about to begin [even if you've already suffered enough in med school]. i learned in the forum that residency is definitely not joke. a lot of residents quit especially if one chooses a hard specialty in a toxic hospital [i.e. surgery. lol. :))]. PLUS, you are not given enough compensation as a resident. a resident's salary ranges from 15k-25k ONLY, despite the long hours in the hospital. and, you're basically STILL a student in residency even if technically, you're already working.
you would think that after finishing residency, doctors would already have high salaries for all their hardwork. yes, it is possible, especially if you choose a specialty that requires no furher subspecialty training. you could already go into private practice. or have your own clinic in a hospital. or work for different hospitals. depending on your specialty. then again, it does take time to establish your name and get a lot of patients, especially if there's a lot of competition in the specialty you chose.
on the other hand, if you're really a masochist, you go through further training as a fellow to furher your career. once you finish fellowship [which i around 15 years of HARD training and you're probably already around 30], PERHAPS rewards would already come. perhaps. :))
then again, there are other options [i.e. leave the country to have a high salary elsewhere]. after passing the boards, you could try being a vessel physician (which pays up to 100k/month) before going into residency. you could take the the medical board exams of other countries (i.e. Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, and US). once you pass their boards, you could take your residency there where you will be WELL COMPENSATED (i.e. high salaries). once you finish your residency in the country of your choice, you could choose to stay, of course, since doctors in those countries are well-rewarded. however, these are options i am not considering right now. i've always wanted to stay in the Philippines. lol.
ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN, there are a lot of reasons for me to pursue medicine. like what i've said, some of the things i've read discouraged me, but some encouraged me as well.
first, i've never wanted to work in an office, i've never wanted to become an employee all my life, and i've never wanted a routine job (lol. i believe all three are connected). there are A LOT of other lucrative jobs out there, but most of them require you to sit in an office and do the same things over and over and over again every single day of your miserable life (no offense). moreover, most of them require you to use your effort to make someone else rich (though you're well compensated). i'd rather use all my efforts to make MYSELF (and myself alone) rich, even if at the end of the month, i earn less. i mean, fine, you could work in a big company and earn so much in a month, but at the end of the day, you're only making the owner of the company rich. why would i waste my life making someone else rich? a doctor uses his effort to earn only for himself. he's rich because of his own efforts. he does not do the same thing every single day; everyday is exciting. he's no one's boss.
second, i believe a sure way to be successful would be to undergo a lot of training. my sister, who chose a career in management, is STUDYING to earn a master's degree to further her career. most companies would require a master's degree. my brother who is in the field of Information Technology is STUDYING because he needs to update his knowledge, especially since technology is improving everyday. my point is that further STUDYING/TRAINING is essential in whatever field you choose. so, it's not really an issue that being a doctor takes time [additional 4 years in med school used to be an issue for me] because whatever field you choose, it will take time before you reach the zenith of your career because you need to study, study, study, and train, train, train.
third, success is not a sure thing for any career. i'm watching the news now, and as usual, it says that a lot of fresh graduates can't find a job. i learned from the forum that although that a vast amount of wealth is not a sure thing in medicine, two things are sure if you choose to be a doctor: you'd never have a hard time looking for a job because doctors will always be in demand [it's just that the jobs you might find are not that lucrative] and you'll never be in danger of being hungry your whole life. the second assurance is a big thing for me. i've watched too many dramas where the business of rich tycoons suddenly go bankrupt, and they go from riches to rag in one day. i'd never want that to happen to me.
fourth, is basically, i know that i would be assured of happiness and a sense of fulfillment if i become a doctor. there are two important things i learned in reading the forum. first, [this is a direct quote] discover what you love to do, and it'll love you back, provisions will surely follow. next, [again a direct quote] piliin mo ang propesyon na malapit sa puso mo upang kung sakaling hindi ka man naging matagumpay ay masaya ka pa rin sa araw-araw dahil mahal mo at gusto mo ang iyong ginagawa. i know you sorta got the impression na "mukha akong pera" at "pera lang ang magpapasaya sakin" from my whole post. LOL. honestly, i'm not (srsly. :P). money is OF COURSE a big factor in choosing a profession. for some, it's the only factor. lol. of course, we all need to be practical. that's why money is an issue. but, cliche as it may sound, money is NOT everything. i don't want to wake up not happy with what i'm doing EVEN IF i'm freakin', filthy, f-ing RICH. i want to wake up feeling the DRIVE and ZEST to work. i want to feel like my job is not a job because i love what i'm doing so much. i want to be EXCITED to go to work everyday. i want a job that would allow me to help other while helping myself. as of now, i can't imagine myself as anyone else but a doctor. in fact, ever since i was a child, i've never seen myself as anyone else, so i'm pretty much sure that i'll always want to be a doctor. dun sa mga sinabihan ko na gusto ko magrobotics nung second year, joke lang un. LOL. asa pa. i know that it would be a hard road to take [believe me, A LOT of people told me it won't be easy], but that doesn't really matter when i get my dream of being called Dr. Kei Rebolledo, or having a MD at the part of my name ---> Kei Rebolledo, MD.
honestly, i'm still having doubts because of practicality. like what i've stressed so much, most doctors aren't compensated well, and i'm not sure i'm willing to sacrifice so much.
to end this extremely long post, i'll end with another direct quote: "i'm a firm believer that if you're not rewarded as doctor here on earth, much greater rewards are waiting for you in heaven." ^_~

farewell!!!!

RIP blogspot. :(

"dba may ulo iyon?" - wahahaha

this situtation where i am in right now a.k.a. nothing-to-do-mode is frightening. the past three months have been incredibly stressful, so i don't know why the hell i have nothing to do today.

i'm thinking that it's all an evil plot. that the teachers are laughing at us behind our backs because when these idle days are over, they will metamorphosize once again into the evil spawns of the devil. they will once again drown us with soooo many homeworks that we would be grasping for air. they will once again force feed us with sooo many information that we would be fraught not to vomit all those that could no longer be digested. okay. so the images i'm creating are pretty disgusting. but, it's the tragic truth. Mother Nature, you have a naughty side pala ah... tsktsk... hahaha. ingatz. baka magkaroon ng baby earth. O.o

SO ANYWAY, i used this as an introduction because it's related to what happened yesterday. hahaha. labo. the agenda yesterday was to find bamboos for sabayan. someone informed us beforehand that we could buy one in maple st., greendwoods village, pasig. we started out only with this info.

the night prior to this was CRAZY. it was the most bangag confe ever. haha. i was on a sugar high because my mom who just came from hong kong brought home some cherries (as in the genuine one. not the bottled ones they sell here in the philippines which taste like crap). cherries are my WEAKNESS. i first tasted the genuine kind last summer at the states. and i instantly got addicted to it. they're soooo good. they're nothing like the fake crap they put on cakes. so when my mom told me she had cherries, i dived for it in her maleta and ate to my heart's desire on our way home from the airport. omg. saying that i ate a million cherries that night would be an understatement. hahaha. so naturally, when we had the confe when i arrived home, i was on an intensified sugar high. i was just plain crazy. hahahaha. you should never see me 'live' when i'm on sugar high. it will stain my family's reputation forevermore. hahaha.

our meeting place was krispy kreme (not treats this time for some reason). when i arrived, there were already four people (lisette, romano, jones, and earl). they were talking about the closing of the olympics which i unfortunately missed. they were also talking about how manila is planning to host the olympics on 2024 or something. haha... i doubt it's possible though.

then at some point during the 'breakfast meeting' (i dare not be more specific), i found something extremely.... uhm. hahahaha. there are no words to describe it (well, actually there are but i dare not put down those words). lisette "found" it first, and we instantly had a connection because she told me about it before. hahaha. the two of us burst out laughing while the others stared blankly at us. then gela (the next victim) "found" it also. and she joined us in our laughing. haha. one by one, people started to get it (especially when we gave such obvious clues). hahahaha. i haven't laughed that hard for a long time. ohmaygad. for clarification's sake, i was not making eye contact! kahit may ulo pa siya. HAHAHA. if you don't get it, trust me, you're lucky. pero kung gus2 mo tlga magets, use context clues. haha. ay actually, dba cnabi ko na related ung ano... basta. hahahahahahaha. lalala.

hay. the kabaliwan and kabastusan didn't end there. we were really crazy in allan's van. haha. grabe talaga ung greenwoods na un. magkano kayang gas ang nasayang namin dun? we were going round and round for a really long time without going anywhere. we couldn't find that damn
MAPOL street. hahaha. after ten years of laughing, we finally found it but we couldn't find the "store" selling bamboo. after ten more years, we finally found it. haha. i never knew bamboo could be so cheap. all that bamboo for only 120 pesos is such a bargain. i guess. haha. thank god for allan's heaven-sent driver. haha.

so after that, we went to high street again to 'plan'. we ate at oliver's. almond cajun chicken (or something like that) sandwich was yummy. KU-KUM-BER daw? hahaha. ang sama tlga.

a bizarre post

a proverb that i read (naks) in a book which i unearthed underneath the mess that is my desk just this morning got me thinking. people that gossip to you gossip about you. as much as i want to think that this particular statement is an exception to the so called "wise sayings", a part of me already knows that it's indeed a scientific fact - one that could not be less factual than the setting of the sun.

a week ago, a close friend and i had a really meaningful conversation of how bad the situation of backstabbing is in our class. those who never heard of the heinous crime of stabbing someone behind the back are now getting accustomed to it. those who were once apprentices are now masters. those who were born masters are continuously recuiting apprentices. i don't want it to sound like some illegal underground organization that sells drugs but it's exactly what this is becoming. like drugs, backstabbing could be addicting. let's face it, laughing at people behind their backs is fun. it's euphoric. it could be compared to the feeling of being high. once you're drawn to it, it's hard to break free. the bad part is everyone's already an addict. i'm a backstabber. he's a backstabber. you're a backstabber. she's a backstabber. we're all backstabbers. what's worse than that is that we backstab each other. we're a community of backstabbers backstabbing each other.

of course, one can easily say backstabbing is normal. it's a part of life. yes, this may be true. but not if you backstab every time you come together as a group. not when you backstab every single day. not when you're so addicted to it that you can't stop. not when you do it everytime you can't do anything else.

i admit that i'm a backstabber. probably a pretty bad one. what prompted me to write this wasn't anger. i didn't write this just now because someone told me that i was being backstabbed. i wrote this because i won't wait when that time comes. i know a lot of pretty bad backstabbers who are also being backstabbed. i know a lot of people who think that some people are their friends. but the truth is that these "friends" are the ones backstabbing them. believe it or not, i know some people who have been friends for years who are backstabbing each other. that's pretty sad right?

the only way to stop this is [of course] to stop the vicious cycle of backstabbing. if you backstab, there's a good chance people are backstabbing you. i know that the people in our class have good hearts. these people are helpful, generous, honest, funny, and generally kind. the only real problem is the backstabbing.

until know, i don't know that made me write this. i just feel like it for some reason. haay. haha. i know i'm not the kind of person who would publish this kind of post. i usually post jokes, funny events, humorous moments.... i'm usually the person who's always optimistic and can find time to laugh even at the most stressful moments. and that's probably why i wrote this. i don't want all our good times as a class go to waste because of the horrible backstabbing.

just my two cents. :D

besides, i doubt anyone still checks on my blog. it's been extict for 2 months. haha. it'll probably be a long time before anyone gets to read this. if you do, don't tell anyone i posted such a weird post. please? haha. i hope you take part in doing something about the backstabbing though. ^_~

<img width='1' height='1' months, i have taken a sneak peek on the supposedly hardest school year of my high school life. and so far, i can't help but say that rumors are definitely true. it's only the first month and i'm already freaking tired. i don't know why, but everytime i come home from school, i just feel a great urge to not give a crap about the quizzes, presentations, extra-curricular duties and the other crappy things i need to do and lie down. but of course, all downs have their ups. i have so far been enjoying this year the most. some of the crappy things actually turn out to be enjoyable in the end. i would have given up long ago if not for the laugh-out-loud moments i share with the people around me.

Ang Aking Pagkadapa Sa Mga Nagkakaisang Estado Ng Amerika (My Trip To The USA) ngeeeeeer. booo, ang corny! mamatay ka na kei! haha.

yup! this is officially (naks) going to be my post regarding my US trip. i'm probably going to work on it for days. so if you're reading it now, it's probably unfinished (like some of my posts. ehem, ehem) or i still have something to add. pero swear, i'm going to finish this one no matter what happens. hehe. sana. O_O

okay, so i stayed in the US for exactly 34 days. possibly one of the best and craziest months of my life. muhahaha. so before anything else, let me give some of the general things i've noticed first.

- there are lots of Filipinos here. as in a lot everywhere i go, there's like someone speaking Filipino.

- US doesn't seem like much of a different country. i mean as compared to when we went to HongKong/China, it was like a totally different world. i felt like an outcast lost in tall buildings and people who don't understand me (haha. the Chinese freaked me out a little bit. there were people who would suddenlly croak and spit out phlegm. ugh) and yeah, another reason is that i'm practically surrounded by Filipinos. plus, everyone speaks English (which means everyone can understand me) so i feel like it itsn't such a different world.

- the US is so over-rated. really. i mean it's nice and all, but it's not that far from what I see in the Philippines. actually, our country (referring particularly to Metro Manila) doesn't look half bad. and you know the things you see in postcards? the real things don't match with those pictures. like the statue of liberty? it's SO SMALL it looks nothing like the statue of liberty i see in postcards and movie posters. haha. i thought it was a fake at first. the white house was SO TINY as well. Alabang houses seem bigger. haha. do they like magically enchance those pictures? or is it only me? New York (although unbelievably awesome with regards to tall buildings and all that) has a lot of garbage, homeless people, and some places smell like Payatas, haha. so yeah. all i'm saying is that i think that US being thought of as a haven of some sort is not only wrong, it's unfair.

- the food here is OMG. everything's served in bigger portions. the burgers are huge! the cups for soda (which is bottomless in all fast food stores) are crazy gigantic - they look like popcorn boxes! every food is out of this world. and some could be really fattening. it's really expensive, however. McDonald's Fish Fillet Meal is like $6 = 240 pesos. almost half of the money given to me for the trip went to food. but I love it. i can't stop eating. some of my favorites are subway (we have it at the philippines but it tastes so much better here), panda express (a chinese fast food store - the orange chicken is to die for), coldstone creamery (deadly but heavenly ice cream), jamba juice (yummy shakes), buffets (omg. buffets here can kill you. but it's really cheap and really good), ice cream sandwiches, turkey legs, and many, many more. when it comes to fine dining, my favorite is olive garden (a really good italian restaurant which serves bottomless soup) and red lobster (i would walk back here for another lobster pizza), yum, yum. plus, what's really good here - which i hope our country will implement soon - is that there are nutrition facts in almost all food stores. so i can like pick healthier options - grilled over fried, big mac over whopper. haha.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

yey. so i've decided to arrange the trip chronologically and by place at the same time. for now, i'm gonna be uploading the pics first and insert the details whe i'm done. for my other kwentos without matching pics, i'll just insert it in keeping with the chronological arrangement. yuck. kinarir? hahaha. prepare to see my face a lot. not recommended for people prone to heart attack. don't tell me i didn't warn you. hahaha.

April 25 - Los Angeles, California

- my family @ the Hollywood sign (actually, i2 ung fake na kinuha sa universal studios. haha, pero nadaanan namin ung 22ong sign. oh, bka hndi niyo pla kilala family ko. from L-R, yuck, haha. me, my mom, Ate Carol, Ate Love, Kuya Christopher. my dad and my other brother were busy with work so they couldn't come.)

- my family @ the entrance of universal studios (haha, alam mo ba at this point d p kami nliligo for 24 hours kahit hilamos man lang kasi diretso kami d2 after the flight. kaya muka na kaming sabaw. MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 474px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 126px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" height="126" alt="" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b6/SFGadv_Skyline.jpg" border="0" />
so anyway, since i'm not a big fan of wild rides (and this is an understatement) , it pretty much scared the hell out of me. i was battling with my self for days (yes. ang drama. mmk ba i2?) whether or not i'd dare ride these coasters. haha. so when we were here already, my tita asked how many tickets. i just closed my eyes, said i'd come, and finally decided that what better way to get rid of my fear (well not really fear. more of general dislike) of wild rides than to ride the wildest of wild rides.

so when the much-awaited day arrived, i wasn't nervous at first, but when we finally arrived and saw the coasters face to face, even my siblings who like what i said are like wild rides addicts were scared (ok fine, i'm only assuming this but i could tell from their facial epression and comments). haha. oh, our cousins were with us too but they've been there before. the Kindga Ka was REALLY tall. its pictures (even from other sources besides mine) can't even begin to tell how tall it really is. it's 450 ft. but here's a better picture to illustrate it tallness. it was taken at the parking lot.

and it's really funny. haha. because what happens is once you reach the top, it immediately goes down like a hill so that it could be really steep. parang bang nangasar lang. haha. we decided to ride it first. haha. baliw tlga sila. nagwawala na nga ako e. but it was a good decision. we were all really nervous while waiting in line. our cousins told us that the line usually takes like 2 hours but since it's not summer break here yet, there was barely any line. thank goodness. 2 hours of anxiety is pain. i've learned over and over again that the anticipation is a lot worse than the real thing. and it was damn cold. haha.

when we finally got into the coaster, i was like praying and begging for it to end. haha. you know the feeling of just wanting to die instead of going through something like while waiting to be called for extemporaneouss speaking or something? haha. so after 10 years of anxiety, the ride finally started. i was like screaming like hell at this point and my sister who was sitting beside was shouting p*tang ina really loud. haha. it's good no one could understand us. it was REALLY fast! it brings you to the top of the hill (450 ft. up) in like 5 seconds. the view from the top while going down was out of this world. hahaha. and then it finally ended. haha. my comment is that you barely feel a thing. it's really fast so when it goes down, your stomach doesn't follow anymore. and so after the best (and worst) 30 seconds of my life, it was finally over. haha. here are videos from youtube which will like give you an idea of the experience. but of course, the real thing's a million times better (and worse). http://youtube.com/watch?v=HN8nv4tVFuA and http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q2cdqDMcUW0

think you can manage? i'd love to see you try. muhahaha. :D

so after that, the other coasters were like peanuts. hahaha. although they were deadly-crazy too. we were pretty much able to ride everything since there were no lines. my second favorite after kingda ka is nitro. it's also very funny. what it does is go up then go down then up again. haha. nangaasar din parang kingda ka. the first drop is very high (200++ ft). i know kingda ka's 450 ft but this time, you can feel your stomach drop as the coaster goes down because it's not as fast as kingda ka. but it also used to be the tallest and fastest coaster. here's a pic from wiki. haha. i also loved superman. it's a suspended coaster so it kinda feels like you're flying.

the best thing about riding the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world is that i could pretty much ride anything i want in the world now. i really enjoyed the remaining rides. i'm so glad we got Kingda Ka over with first. if we didn't, i wouldn't have enjoyed the rides we would have ridden before it because the anxiety is still there. i know it sounds cliche and all, but conquering my fear feels great. now i just have to grab a cockroach or talk to a ghost. hahahaha. boooo. yey. so that ends a really long description of the day i spent at six flags. it's probably my favorite out of the whole trip. haha. obvious ba? tignan mo o kay haba nitong kwento tungkol dito. haha.

May 12 - Washington, D.C. (oh, we were "staying" at my Tita's House in New Jersey until May 28 but we went to different places)

- me and my family @ The White House (it's tiny isn't it? it was damn cold and was raining at the same time. the temp was 40 degrees fahrenheit, which is about 5 degrees celcuis. gad, i almost died. it's the coldest i've been in my life. i kinda felt bad that i saw the white house first before the malacanang palace. haha. aww, since when have i been nationalistic? haha.)

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5204912097651505282" style="DISPLAY: block; SHOPPING. muhaha.

there's no other way to say it, i go CRAAAZY everytime we go shopping. because everything's so damn CHEAP. especially if you know where to buy cheap stuff. shirts, jackets. shoes, and shorts that i wouldn't normally buy here because of their over-the-roof prices are affordable there. i never buy anything not affordable. and not affordable for me are like 1000-peso shirts/shorts or 2000-peso jackets. bleh. not one of my clothes ever reach those prices. unless they're free or given as a present. haha.

so what do i mean by cheap clothes in the US? for example, Billabong jackets here are ridicioulously expensive. they range from 2-3000 pesos right? but i caught a sale at a Billabong store, and they were selling jackets for only $ 20 = 800 pesos. muhahaha. fine, so i got a little crazy and bought 5, but you know how crazy i am about jackets. if you think about it, the cost of those jackets is like the price of only 1 1/2 jackets here of the same brand. then i bought like 4 more from different stores. not one jacket's more expensive than $ 30 = 1200 pesos.

my favorite purchase was this really nice Gryffindor jacket (oh BTW it has something to do with Harry Potter if you're not a fan). they were selling it for only $10 = 400 pesos because it was on clearance. gush. i went mad and like grabbed it and ran to the cashier. hahaha. it's the one in the upper left @ the picture below. haha. i got really bored earlier and started taking pictures of the things i bought. haha. the 5 Billabong jackets are easy to spot. haha. oh, and if you're observant, you'd see me wearing these at the photos in the place i've been. haha. that's because i forgot to bring jackets. hahaha. the other one's not in the picture cause it's in the laundry. haha.

what else are cheap? SHIRTS! okay, i got a little crazy and bought a lot. but i swear, almost all of these shirts are only $10 = 400 pesos each. haha. the Volcom, Quiksilver, Billabong shirts which are normally 1000 pesos here (so i never buy them. haha) are of that price. very few exceeded $10. muhahaha. lalala.

oh and gush. the cheapest of them all... CHUCKS! they're only $15 = 600 pesos. what the hell right? so all of these shoes = only $75 = 3000 pesos. that's like only one really nice chucks here. oh. but, like the jackets and shirts, they're really cheap only if you know where to look. hahahaha. i'll teach you when you go to the States.

see? i told you i never buy anything not affordable. which the only reason why i bought so much was because they were really very affordable. and it would be years before i return again. haha. these stuff come with a price though (duh. haha.). my 5 years worth of savings from christmas and birthday cash presents = GONE. my pocket money given by my dad and tito = GONE. plus, i'm like forbidden to buy clothes for a very long period of time. haha. sob, sob.

i'll talk about the prices of gadgets next time. hahaha. gadgets here are sooooooooooo CHEAP i wanna cry. haha.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

continuation of New York

- me @ M&M's World in Times Square and the mighty M&M's wall (haha. the wall is huge. it's covers 2 floors and all the tubes are filled with M&M's chocolate. i tasted very exotic M&M's there. my favorite was the mint one. haha. too bad i wasn't able to bring some home. hahaha.)

- me @ the top of Empire State Building (yuck. emo pic b? "marshmallow test, emotional quotient..." haha. how could i forget?

1st english - still trembling.... we were given poem or something to interpret. and for the 1st time, i was asked to answer a question (against my will, of course). what the irony was in the poem was the question... haha. i gave my answer, but until now, i'm not sure if it was right. pedagogic with blanks was given right after. my gush. hahaha. nkkinis kaya un! nagppgawa ng ppt d pla kelngan. hmph.

1st filipino (also 1st subject of the year) - haha. mrs suplente was her old self again, of course. puro kwento. at jokes. haha. we were given our 1st homework which was to bring black clearbook. hahaha.

1st bio - hmmm... we met mrs hongo, that's all i remember. haha. never expected she would be so fun. oh yeah! she asked us to draw a symbol of who we are as students i think. basta. i remember drawing a weighing scale with a smiley on the left and a book on the right. haha.

1st social - muhahaha. sir blanca asked us how social was last year. The 1A peeps in the class gave "she-who-was-born-in-pangaea" a really bad review. i remember saying how hekasi used to be my fave subject in grade school. and how i expected it to still be my favorite until my dreams were shattered in first year. hahaha. loved that 1st meeting. sir blanca definitely lived up to my expectations - and more.

1st math - ugh... the start of my despair. i couldn't understand the 1st lesson because it was so... weird. it was the thing that had fractions. ah bsta. struggle tlga. sa MPR pa iyon. haha. grr.

1st CLE - this i definitely do not remember. not even one tiny detail. i wonder why. first day palang kasi, (BnB) buhay na bangkay strikes already!

1st quiz - bio quiz with mrs, hongo. haha. it was okay. everyone got either a perfect score or one mistake. a question i remember... hmmm.. what do you use to measure the height of a tree. haha. meter stick ung sagot. weird noh?

1st failed quiz - it was unexpectedly... bio. i always thought it would be math. i got 15/30. wahahaha... i was only able to answer 2 in the labeling of the diagram of the parts of the cell... from a 98 in the report card to this. T_T i suck at labeling. and i hate cells. period. haha. damn you plant cell! (p.s. plant cell, alipin ka lang ng animal cell. muhaha. die!!!)

1st "pinahiya/pinagalitan ako ng teacher sa class moment" - it was in filipino when i made a quick glance at the clock for no reason. it was really more of a habit than a desire/need to do so. i was even wearing a watch. ugh. it got me really frustraited. besides, what use is the clock if you're not allowed to look at it. they might as well remove it if students would be reprimanded for lookng at it. yuck, haha nagdradrama na pala ako.

1st love - asa. haha... labo noh?

PRESENTATIONS/CLASS PROJECTS/ FUNNY OR MEMORABLE MOMENTS INSIDE THE CLASSROOM

ENGLISH

the first one was the REALLY weird one. the one where you had to "advertise" the different kinds of literature. i really couldn't understand that. as expected, due to the very blurry instructions, we all came up with totally different presentations depending on how we understood it. haha... one group took it literally and did a commercial. the others like tried to sell books. haha. one group even had scientists of some sort promoting planets named after the works of literature.

the second one was kind of okay. at least the intructions were uhm... clear enough . haha. we had to promote the new 7 wonders of the world. our group got the great wall i think. i remember laughing at the maccu picchu i think. or not. bsta ung may nagsasaudi arabian accent. haha.

what other presentations were there? hmm... ah, of course! haha... the really embarrassing one. where i had to play spidey's fan. haha... halos impromptu lang un e. tae! haha... kinarir ba masyado? nttndaan ko p lines ko. muhahaha... Q: "What part of his body is your favorite?" A: "Well, you rarely see any part of his body since he's always wearing that costume. But, OMG, do you remember his lips in that kissing scene when he was upside down and took off his mask?! Gosh!" haha... ^_^

the Christmas jingle presentations - haha.... syempre ung pnakamemorable dun : (tune : jingle bells) Tao Te Ching! Tao Te Ching! Written by Lao Tzu! Go with the flow like the river yo! haha... thank God for good music (haha. sarcasm or not?). hmm.. for my group, my favorite was Kirsten as Slutty Santa... haha... this was embarassing for me too. i had to be rudolph and wear antlers and a red nose. haha.

extemporaneouss speaking - LOL... this made me really nervous.... ano b ung mga nkktawang sagot? wla na ako mtndaan e. bsta the question i got was something related to humility or something. hay. ang labo ko nmn. kung wla rin akong mttndaan sna d ko na blinog. haha.

newscasting - haha! grbe tlga! we had no practice whatsoever for this. haha.. uhm, what i remember is... ung may mga potential maging magaling na newscaster accdg to sir... i think it was jo, kim, and earl... haha... funny pla ung kay kim! ung traffic report. haha, nung una d ko gets ung diagram na may mga dots..... haha, what else... ung news ni eric! haha, ung brutal. ung may nasagasaan sa parade ata na bata... and the way he delivered it. parang excited pa. haha. bsta tawa ako ng tawa d2.

readers' theater - hay tae tlga i2! nkkstress i2ng buisit na i2! haha. first of all, what readers' theater means wasn't explained to us. i didn't know what to do. should the readers move? should we have actions? should everyone read? how should everyone read? should the main readers be reading alone? should there be props, stage design...? kailangan bang karirin i2? i practically had to force everyone to practice, force everyone to create those folders (which btw was yet again another last minute addition), and force everyone to read. haha, hlta bang touchy ako d2? LOL. bsta. all i can say is. good luck na lang sa class president ng pilot class in the future. i swear, walang nakikinig. (lance can testify with great enthusiasm to this... haha)... pero okay lang... in the end, when everybody realizes na malapit na ung event, magprapractice na din and magtratrabaho na din as a class. tska napanood ko recently (haha) ung video n2 sa multiply ni gela. uhm, okay na din. mgnda ung effect nung folders. tsaka polished tignan. haha. of course, i seldom let my anger and frustration show... i guess that's who i really am. when practice time comes, i forget all of that and just enjoy. and laugh, of course. aerobics? to the left. ready set go! 12345678, 87654321.. haha.

haha... hindi i2 presentation... nkktawa lang for my part.... haha... it was when we were reading The Bench one by one.... waaaaaaaa..... haha... ang dami kong mali... i really don't know why i pronounce "brow" as "bro" and not "brouw" initially.. haha.. i know that it's supposed to be "brouw" but everytime i see the word, i say "bro" waaaaa... tapos dun sa paragraph na binabasa ko, ang daming mhhirap na words. Bietjievsli, Annetjie etc.. (d na ako sure dun sa spelling niyan ah)... ewan ko ba... nkkasar tlga... haha.. pero ang saya... hahaha.

syempre. who could forget? nosebleed debate sessions with sir manaay.... and the winner for the "pinadugo ko ang ilong ng 2B dahil ang lalim ng sinabi ko at wala silang naintindihan" award goes to Allan a.k.a. Hari Ng Mga Dinudugong Ilong a.k.a. Magpapakamatay Ako Para Sa 1 Point Sa Multiple Choice Sa Literature. HAHA... joke... syempre, idol natin lahat siya when it comes to nosebleed. muhaha... pinakamalalang debate? ung sequencing of events ng Gilgamesh... muhaha.. 1 period inabot... but very memorable... hahaha.

THANKS BATCHMATES!

Before I talk about other stuffs, may bago na naman akong nakitang pick-up lines... muhaha.

1) Keyboard ka ba? I mean the tension and the anxiety waiting for that moment when you see whether or not your name is the one encircled in that dreaded manila paper is just horrifying. It's even worse that the results itself.

To the whole batch, all I can say is that I'm really thankful. Ang utak, katawan, kaluluwa, at lahat ng mahakot kong resources ay ibubuhos ko para sa inyong lahat. Haha... Yes naman. Again, thanks again (haha redundant on purpose). Syempre, kung may suggestions kayo or criticisms, sabihin niyo lang. Haha, d nmn ako nangangagat.

To the other officers, let's all work hard. (haha... one of life's unanswered question ba i2? obvious nmn ang sagot e... haha...)

mahirap din pala magtagalog... okay, back to english... haha

since it was teacher's day, we had to prepare something for ms. g and sir t... the truth is i'm not as close to them as the other 2b people since i'm in the math and science pull-out... pero close pa rin syempre.... i still see ms. g every homeroom time.... and sir t was my math pull-out teacher last year.... so okay pa rin.... haha.. pero un nga, hindi masyado... mas maraming beses ko pa nga nakikita si sir manaay e... well actually lahat kami. (muhahaha... syempre, english and research = 6 mtgs/week) pero un... mas kilala pa rin cla ng mga kaklase ko... nevertheless, i of course did my best to express how much i appreciate them as my teachers...

the petal roses were simply beautful... tamang tama to set the mood... pero parang kasal ... ok lang... basta ang ganda tignan.... when they came in, we had the prayer and then we gave the 8R picture mosaic thingy (yes, memorize ung size? syempre ako nagpaprint e... mura pala dun sa photoshop sa tabi ng lumang jollibee sa park square) after that, we gave our own presents them led them to the biolab where yam's video of all our messages were shown... haha... marami pala samin video-genic (may ganun ba? basta hindi na ako kasama sa mga taong un)... tapos un lang... as compared to last year, i think our "presentation" is more meaningful.....

after that, we went to the gym... nothing special happened really... except when a coordinator/administrator shouted "PUNYETA!!!" in the microphone.... nabigla tlga ako dun ah... syempre kilala niyo na kung sino siya... haha. funneh... kind of ironic really... whatever happened to values they want to teach... you gotta practice what you preach gaya ng sabi ng black eyed peas. haha.. ang corny... anyway....

aun.. we (me and the 2b people na hindi nagdadate) walked to JR's 2nd house in paraiso st.... haha... grabe noh, 2nd? sana one day masabi ko rin, "i'm going to my 2nd house down the street" haha... grabe, pareho pang sobrang laki at ganda... prehong street pa... LOL.. gusto ko ngang nakawin ung isa e... kung pwede lang... haha.... so anyway, we walked there for our planned "party" since some people weren't allowed to go to the mall. but we walked to treats first for a lunch at kitaro... i had the 5-piece tempura. okay na rin. haha... they gave us free ballers with i love kitaro written on it... haha, hndi ko alam kung cno mga naguwi.

after that, we went back to jr's house. first, we attempted to "party" with the ipod on the speakers as source of sounds... pero ang corny ng mga tao e... tsaka wala sa mood...

haha... after like some time of laughing and doing nothing, we played truth, dare or strip... ako actually nagsuggest nung strip... haha.... wala nmng na strip e.. kasi ang corny pa rin ng mga tao.... slippers, shoes, socks, belt, and polo and jacket as outer clothing lang... haha... nkktawa pa rin... pinakakawawa c raj... the glue thingy (wala kasing bottle) kept on landing at raj... nung wala na siyang mastrip and nasagot na niya ung gus2 nilang malaman, dinare na lang siyang ilagay ung ulo niya sa pool... haha... funny... struggle para sa kanya e... haha... nakakakilig ung mga questions... haha..... may mga sumayaw pa as dare... yiheee... at syempre aminan ng most "likeable"... pero seret na ung juicy details... tuwing truth or dare, laging "walang lalabas" ang batas...

so after the truth, dare or strip, we kind of like had a... uhm... basta.... a thing wherein we all said things never to be divulged to another human being... hay, basta, kung ano man nangyari dun, secret na lang para hindi magkaroon ng world war... haha. labo.

so after ng truth, dare or strip and the "thing" (mga after 2 1/2 hours), since wala na kaming magawa, some people played pusoy dos and some people (including me) played this clue-like harry potter board game... ang saya niya... sobra... haha... meron kasing ghost na pwedeng hangaran/kainin ung mga tao... ang sama ni romano, lagi akong inaapi T_T... ok lang, in the end wala namang nanalo e.... haha... basta ang saya niya tlga.. bblhin ko un i swear.

since gutom na kami ulet (mga 5 na), we all ordered pizza hut... sarap tlga ng cheezy crust... then we all went to starbucks..... haha, grabe tlga.. tawa lang kami ng tawa... tapos ang weird pa nung tawa namin.... nahaluan nga daw alcohol ung pizza e... haha, basta nkkhiya... ang ingay namin.... bentang-benta tlga mga corny jokes ni ivan... haha... tapos after nagsubside ung tawanan, more serious stuff was talked about... haha... un lang... pagkauwi ko pago na pagod na ako so natulog na ako agad.....

over-all, it was a great day.... haha.... ironic ba? syempre kung single pag valentine's, imbis na magmukmok, magpakasaya na lang... thanks for making S.A.D. not sad at all! nkktamad magblog tungkol sa fair... wala nmng nangyari e... ang corny kaya.... haha

hindi tayo tao. hindi din hayop. For guys: tight leather pants at sleeveless shirt, sayang naman pagji-gym ko if I won't show off my muscles. For girls: micro-mini, high heels, tank-top, at malalagkit na mga tingin.
d. Sobrang hapit na damit, yung tipong hindi ka na makahinga. Tutal di mo naman susuutin ito ng matagal dahil mas mahaba ang panahon na wala kayong saplot.

8. Yumayakap ka ba sa mga kaibigan mo?
a. Que Barbaridad! Hindi noh!
b. Oo, pero di madalas. Pag matagal lang kaming hindi nagkita.
c. (evil laugh) ^_____^
so anyway, back to the events of yesterday... actually a lot has happened for the past 2 months.... but, oh well... it might take me the whole week to tell everything... so i'll just stick to the most recent events.

so anyway, haha.. yesterday started quite peacefully.... who knew such a peaceful start could end with not-so-peaceful events? i woke up and prepared for the play meeting at school. but it turned out to be a PROPS meeting after all... because only props people and guia who were there. anyway, i started helping out anyway and it was a very peaceful working mood for almost 2 hours... with a few laughs here and there, of course. apparently, lisette was hosting a "going to high street and playing frisbee afterwards" gimmick and invited me. i almost didn't go because i haven't asked for permission yet. plus, i didn't have any money nor a mindset on going out. i was looking forward to sleeping the whole day and watching DVDs... haha... but anyway, i made the right decision and asked my mom who allowed me to go, as long as i go home with my sisters at 5. thank God for the 500 hidden in the "emergency flap" of my wallet.

anyway, after a half hour or so, i found myself in lisette's car with lisette (duh), romano, jonas, allan, marc, lance, and lisette's mother and sister. we were dropped off at high street. our 1st stop was food, of course. i was sort of hungry by then because i only ate cereals for breakfast...
they decided to eat at conti's (yes! sosyalan... feeling mayaman e... pero actually poor nmn... haha)... unfortunately, the restaurant was full and there were already 5 groups in the waiting list. we decided to wait (i don't know why).... there were chairs outside for the waiting people... for some weird reason, it was not occupied.... the waiter said that if the other people in the waiting list didn't come when a table was available then we would get it. and this is where the fun began... haha... how do i say this... the chairs were arranged in a manner wherein it surrounded the passageway to the restaurant... it was actually lined in both the left and right sides of the walkway.

so we were there talking about random stuff when this girl or boy (im not sure... haha... kasi nmn e... mukha siyang lalaki... pero may hinaharap... kaso may kaholding hands na girl na may itsura.. o dba nakakalito?) stared at us for like 5 seconds and suddenly blurted out "excuse me, isn't this a passageway?" in a mataray deep voice... ugh... so basic instinct told us to withdraw our feet right away... the truth is we never noticed that it was a walkway... people who were passing by and entering the restaurant was using another direction... it didn't bother me so much that he/she wanted to use that walkway.... it's just that.... the nerve! you could have said excuse me and stopped there... why the need for side comments definitely uncalled for? gosh. and using that deep mataray voice.. haha.. but the heck with him/her... we ended laughing when he/she was gone... someone (i forgot who) even said, "sana pala hndi ko na lang tinabi ung paa ko." haha... we were planning some evil things when he/she walked out of the restaurant... but we decided not to pursue it... haha.. syempre ganyan tlga pag Agustino... magalang pa din kahit na binastos.. yes nmn... application ba ito ng RHGP?

anyway, after 1 hour (ata) of waiting, we finally got a table... and it originally was meant for only 5 people so we were cramped... it was fun anyway... i ordered fish and chips and finished it quite quickly since i was starving by then. we decided not to give any tip for making us wait for an hour and because the waiter didn't "balat" romano's prawns... it was almost impossible to do so because of lack of space... but we ended up giving our sukli as tip anyway..... all is good.. ^_^

after that, we went to krispy kreme for delicious original glazed donuts. and, we had to talk to lisette's church to get transpo to the Army Field where we were to play frisbee... our immediate comment about the Church was "WOW! SOSYALAN!". it had many floors, an elevator, a bookstore, aircon, and many more... apparently, the frisbee thing was a kind of an activity the poeple who go to that Church did every saturday... there were many Augustinians and the parish comminuty was so close... i almost felt jealous... haha... we even saw paulo bediones... LOL....

they provided us free transpo to the field itself... at first, we were hesistant to play because we were shy and we didn't know how plus we didn't know anyone! (yes ang dami excuses e noh). but, the people turned out to be very friendly and fun..... we ended up having the best time.... they taught us how to play frisbee, a surprisingly fun sport. haha... we even participated in a "real" game after much practice.... it turns out most of us had potential.... yes naman....c marc nga nangangarir na agad e...... nagdadive pa? yes naman.... haha..... i was riding home with marc so at 5:50, his mom arrived and we had to go... the final score was a tie - 2-2... i didn't want to leave yet because i was having so much fun and i was meeting many people.
well anyway, that's all for now... hoping i could blog religiously from now on... goodluck to me! :D

happy birthday to me!

*NOTE: this post was posted (weehh) last friday but because of technical difficulties of blogger (i.e. failure to separate paragraphs), i reposted this post to today so that it would be pleasant to the eyes *

actually, my birthday was really last tuesday. but because of all the crap from school, i wasn't able to celebrate it last tuesday... so i betrayed my real birthday and postponed it to today because today im partially celebrating it... haha... what do i mean by partially? im celebrating it today wih my family! i'll schedule another day to celebrate it with my friends and 2B.... haha... i was supposed to have a party tonight but since this week was so cramped with crappy stuff that made me sooo busy, i had no time to plan or prepare or anything... sob... but it was actually a blessing i didn't have any party today because of the whole trillanes mutiny yesterday which might have led to no one being able to come because of strict parents... haha... like what i always say, god works in mysterious ways ^_~

right now, i can smell all of my favorite food being cooked... mmm... roast beef with my mom's super delicious buttery-gravy, lasagna, paella, and mashed potatoes... i have it every year. it's like a tradition. and of course, for dessert, my favorite vanilla ice cream and conti's chocolate overload cake and mango mania which we just bought. another tradition for me is to buy a venti peppermint mocha frap which i fulfilled last tuesday because it was the only thing i had time for. haha... i bought another today on our way to buying the cake... wee... i just simply love it... it's like 15 minsutes in heaven for me (that's how long i take before i can finish it)... the bad thing about all this food is that it's going to make me fat... haha.. i blow up so easily... why can't i have perfect metabolism like some people? prepare to see me fat on monday... hahahaha... whatever, it's just once a year...

i cant believe im 15 already... it seems only yesterday that i was 14... well actually it was 4 days ago... haha... looking at my life (yes naman) im not sure if i've done/accomplished enough for a 15 year old. i need to become a more productive member of the society.... haha... asa pa ba? well research and math simply hinders me from doing so... haha, here i go ranting again... those two walls in my life striked again yesterday... waiting for research was simply horrible... by lunch time, i felt like i wanted to jump and break a leg or something just not to go to research. it felt like a death march while i was walking from our usual tambay place in the theater upto the 2B classroom. but thank God we weren't called... we so weren't ready to present yesterday... and then math came... it turned out to be worse than research.... SHE (Cruella de Vil - the cruel devil) gave us a quiz so freaking hard i doubt i would even get more than 5 points... ugh... she must die! but like what romano said, ang masamang damo ay mahirap mamatay. why do you think is the reason why math and research haven't been murdered and decapitated yet? so much for my ranting...

well, like what i said... i'm already 15 and i still don't know what i want to be or what course i'll take... i've always wanted to be a teacher... my lolo and lola were teachers and now my sister is planing to be one... but i don't know if id be satisfied with such a simple job. i mean it's probably one of the most honorable jobs in the world but it's too simple... i want something bigger...

so next in the list is medicine. why? i've always loved science and i think studying it will interest me the most. i'm strongly considering surgery because of the medical shows i watch especially GA which influenced me a lot... i think that this generation is pretty lucky because of tv shows which showcase the careers of people... they give you a glimpse of what it is to be a (insert profession here) at a young age making it easier for everyone to decide what they want to be and at the same time gives you an idea what it takes to take that career. i don't know how i'd decide without shows that give me a glimpse of being a working person. but there are some things that are pulling me away from medicine. for one, my sister who graduated BS Biology in UP dropped out on her 1st month in med school. she claimed it was too much for her which scared me a little. my sister who is very smart was pulled away. what if it happens to me too? and of course, blood and the idea of cutting someone open still terrifies me... but the thing that horrifies me the most is that people's lives depend on how well you do your job. i mean, if you're an accountant and compute for something wrong, it won't kill anyone... but a simple mistake as a doctor could kill anyone... plus, doctors barely have time for anything aside from their patients which i observed in shows i watch... or maybe this is a wrong perception? but still, i don't know if i want to take a job which would eat up all my time and at the same time make me feel anxious... but there are rewards of course... doctors tend to be rich and it would be so fulfilling to save a life.

since there's a possibility for me too veer away from medicine, i could always take up law since i'm a debater and social studies and the law interests me a lot as well. but there's a downside to law also... although a life literally might not be at stake, but if you screw up, you kill someone as well, but figuratively of course. but that's a defense attorney im talking about... well, i could always be a corporate lawyer or a company employee or a manager, but jobs which require you to stay in an office for hours without any excitement might kill me. in short, i like a not so exciting job which would make me anxious all the time but a boring job is definitely a no-no. because of my hatred for math, i'm not considering as of the moment any math heavy course (accounting, engineering) but let's see... haha... crow's feathers might become white and i might suddenly begin liking math. haha...

i haven't realized that i was blabbing about what i would like to be for a long time now... sorry for boring you again... but for those who are like me who are not yet sure of what course or job to take, i hope it helped... haha... oh well i still have 2 1/2 years to think... but i'm getting old and i really need to start thinking.... i do hope i already have the answer when the time comes.. i don't want to end up hating my course or job... good luck to me and to everyone... haha... i shall end my blog entry for today here. because i think the gravy is finished and i want to be the first one to taste it... enjoy the long weekend! ^_^

life is like a ticking clock, it's noisy

IM REALLY EXHAUSTED...
i just had my nihongo final exams... it must be the hardest test i took in my life... uhuhuhu... well, perhaps not including the comprehensive exams in grade 7... no... this was much harder. even though i prepared for it like hell (i've been studying since last week - especially last night and this morning), it was sooooo hard. i just to give you an idea what a nihongo test is like, it's composed of 4 parts namely writing, listening, reading, and grammar... the writing test is mainly about kanji... to give a brief background of the japanese language, it has three alphabets - katakana, hiragana, and kanji... hiragana and katakana is similar to our ABCs... they can be memorized in a day or so... hiragana is used in japanese native words, and katakana is used in japanese words borrowed from other languages mainly english... you'll be surprised at how many english words there are in japanese... like boorupen (ballpen), konpyutaa (computer), eribeeta (elevator)... haha.. words in katakana are my favorite... they are soo funny... but kanji is a different story... they're these very complicated figures you see in restaurants... a kanji is like a symbol for a word... imagine the word "sun"... in our language, it's written in letters right? but in japanese, the word sun can also be written in hiragana or katakana (the letters), but it has a kanji meaning a kanji stands for a word... so if we had kanjis, sun could be represented by a symbol æ or something. since there are thousands of words, there are thousands of kanjis... and they're freaking hard to memorize... wow, so much for brief... haha... anyway, moving on, the reading part is just as hard... they give you a story to read and you need to answer questions about the story... the listening part is the hardest... there are these tapes that says a bunch of statements in a very fast, non-comprehendable manner... and you need to answer questions about those statements as well... since my ears are not used to japanese, i find this test the hardest. and last is the grammar part, which is fairly easy but in today's test, it was the most difficult... what makes the whole freaking thing more difficult is that i've only attended 3 out of 8 classes in the second term of the course which is basically where the finals is based from because of soo many stuff to do on saturdays. so i had to study on my own... and because of all the crap from school, i just have no time to study so much... the most pressuring part is, 10000 pesos worth of tuition is at stake... if i flunk this test, i need to repeat the whole course... (i'm in elementary 2 now)... and there are only 2 tests for every course, the midterms and the finals... ugh, no chance to make bawi at all... im praying i passed at least... studying another language is definitely not a pickle... imagine studying english from scratch... that's why i'm not considering spanish as an elective in 4th year... but then again, being quadlingual (if there's such a word) is pretty cool... plus, they look good on resumes when applying for a job. but my main reason for studying japanese is because of heritage... period. haha... it might be useful someday though... japanese call centers pay thrice of what english call centers pay you... maybe i'll become a doctor in a japanese clinic. i hear they get higher pay than ordinary doctors... or maybe a japanese sensei (teacher)... my teacher is freaking rich... i hear he gets a lot of pesoses per hour $$$$. hmm...

sorry for boring you... haha, i just had to pour out my exhaustion and stress... instead of spending time with 2B yesterday and today which are the only 2 rest days of the week, i had to study and take a super hard exam after a week of studying... just imagine studying after studying... BLEH.... at least it's all done now... assuming i pass, i won't attempt to take japanese when there are classes... it's just impossible... ill just continue next summer, like what i did this year's summer. AND THANK GOD, I'M PROBABLY STAYING HOME NEXT SATURDAY AFTER 5 MONTHS OF BEING OUT OF THE HOUSE EVERY SATURDAY... YAHOO!!! NOW I CAN FINALLY CALL SATURDAY A WEEKEND AND NOT AN EXTENSION OF THE WEEKDAY!!! well, anyway let me tell you what happened yesterday...

well actually the stress started Thursday night because of this freaking math project... we have to submit the draft of our "website" project... it's like the most senseless project ever... everyone has better things to do aside from reading a math tutor website made by high school sophomores.... hello? we tried appealing for a powerpoint presentation instead so SHE can show it to her future students... BUT NO... it has to be a website.. so i started a rant about math in my stat messages in my YM... haha... it became too long that i decided to just put in my blog when i write again... so i started months ago with math and research must die... now i have plans of writing a book entitled how to murder math for dummies. that is when i figure out how. on second thought, it might be a good research problem : the efficiency and feasiblity of murdering math. on third thought (haha), why not just murder research as well. before scientists try to discover how to clone or how to do stem cell research (yes, san ko napulot yun? - haha), they should discover how to murder math and research first to alleviate the sufferings and stress of students like me. and so if there is less stress and suffering, there will be less sucide cases, less obese children (stress is fattening), less students who fail because of these subjects, thus creating productive students, and in the end a better world... haha..... this was how my idea about hate of math and research (the first idea being math and research must die) evolved... what a creative mind i have... muhahaha... so much for my loathing for math and research...

so friday came... we had this homework in english about proverbs... and this was where the fun started. by recess, we were panicking because some of us didn't have any yet... so instead of being productive, we made the whole thing a joke... we created philospophical (pilosopo) proverbs. they made me laugh... A LOT... muhaha... one of the pilosopo proverbs we came up with is my title... it was the funniest... haha... it came from the original "life is a ticking clock, it doesn't stop unless it runs our of batteries." "What use is grass then the horse is dead?" became a dying man needs a doctor... haha... sorry, it sounds corny right now but it was funny then... then there's "a writing hand needs a speaking mind" which became a writing hand needs a ballpen... haha... anyway.... it continued until PE time... but i really had time doing the proverbs... i came across one which i like "better stay quiet and be thought of as a fool than talk and remove all doubt"... haha, in short, don't talk when you have nothing to say... haha, may pinapatamaan ba? secret :D.. after that, we had english which was very fun... i like listening to other parents' love stories... my parents' love story is funny... haha... basta. ayun lang, i wasn't able to go to JR's house and eat because i had to study... sayang, haha... gutom pa naman ako kahapon... yun lang... haha... i almost forgot my ..birthday is on tuesday na! wohoo... i don't know what to do yet... my bday is the same as Pat... haha... 2 years ago, we celebrated it in EK... but i haven't consulted her yet. last year, we were supposed to go to the mall bu the rain stopped us and it never pushed through... haha... hmm... i'm considering a party at my house on friday since wlang pasok... but... haha, last time i had a party at my house was my grad party in grade 7... grabe, so many people from my class came... it was such a havoc. my mom almost killed me. hmmm... what to do? maybe not a party, just a nice dinner or something... guys, if my mom allows me, punta kayo ah!!! inuman tayo!!! joke!... time to rest... and watch GA!!! rest at last! ^_^

thank you LORD!!!!!!!!

well... my title isn't supposed to be funny... i just really want to offer this blog to the Lord for my report card this quarter... i honestly felt like i wouldn't even be in the top 10 with my grades but God works in mysterious ways... that's really all I want to say... from our discussion about coal. joshua said "e.g. coal" and sir libao heard it wrong. haha, it was so funny. unless, you don't get it... anyway, since we were all so sleepy, we gave up at 12. we slept at 1. and since we found out that the cottages at teacher's camp wouldn't be available until 11 the next day, we invited the other people including joe, steph, nina, michael c, earl, and ms. regato to my stay at my house when they arrived at 5 am...

Saturday
at around 5 am, someone was trying to wake me up and i felt really pissed (not realizing by then of course that we needed to welcome the other delegates) because it felt like i just slept 10 mins ago... haha, anyway, after 10 mins of trying to stand up, i finally did, and we found the other delegates getting lost in the taxi on the street... anyway, i was really freezing by then because it was 5 am and unfortunately, it's really freaking cold at baguio around that time (i was really thankful i didn't go to school there)... i wanted to laugh at the "lost" delegates because i still wasn't over with them waking me up (haha, sorry na, im really "touchy" when it comes to sleep)... anyway, i forced (haha - joke lang) a smile, greeted them, tried to be a good "host", but i really didn't have the energy so i went back to sleep while they chatted downstairs... only me and ms. regato were asleep while they were talking downstairs. (i know, i know, im such a bad "host")... anyway i woke up and found them practicing for the quarter singing contest... anyway, since we needed a supplement for the hotdogs, sir libao and ms regato decided to go and register at teacher's camp and at the same time buy food for everyone at mcdo... yey! greeness continued at breakfast thanks to sir libao's bentang hirits (haha, can't wait to get sir as eco teacher in 4th year - trust me, it's gonna be soo freaking funny). there was this discussion about the little prince, and one thing led to the other, and we were suddenly talking about "the hardest prince..." haha, because of everyone's green contribution, "the hardest prince" became a contest with oral and pracitcal tests to determine the winner... hahaha... this "hardest prince" joke lasted until the end of the convention, and i'll tell you why as we proceed... haha, bsta... that was probably one of the greenest breakfasts ever (not to mention there were a lot of super jumbo hotdgos on that table!)... hahaha... moving on, after the breakfast and after everyone finished eating, taking a bath, and packing, we all left my house... there were no taxis so we had to walk to the gate of the village. (it was okay but it was freaking hot and sunny - it's hot in baguio during the morning - geez, weather strikes again...) and earl left his towel so we got pissed since the sun literally and figuratively had a big smile that morning... anyway, we caught a taxi and we went all the way to my house to the cottage we would be living in for 5 days... when i first saw it, my first reaction was BLAH. to be continued... haha

"si kokey nagcococcaine kaya ganun ung muka?" - hehe

grabe, wlang kwenta na naman oath ko from last post... 2 weeks bago ako magpopost ulet? haha... wla na tlga akong pag-asa. so hndi na ako magpropromise sa post na ito. haha, bka nxt year na ako ulet mka post... anyway, so a recap of yesterday's events muna...

hmm... the day started with a very funny morning prayer... don't get me wrong, the prayer wasn't funny - the pronunciation errors of the prayer leader was funny... haha... sorry na... Gad, hird, eeees... sorry na tlga... can't help laughing tlga... tska ung mga tao kasi sa paligid ko e... tawa din ng tawa... so natatawa na din ako... i mean, fine, i know we should respect prayer and everything... i blame the person who assigns prayer leaders... why assign such an uhmmmmmm... "inappropriate" leader? pero nxt tym d n tlga ako ttawa kahit gano pa ktawatwa ang pronunciation... I'LL TRY... haha... 2B kasi e! ang bilis mkaspot ng pronunciation/grammatic errors... haha, ang bilis ba tawanan.... nkkhawa.

social time - fun and informative as usual. one of the few subjects where i actually listen... haha... science time - super LOOOOONG rosary which ape up 30 mins of science... haha... some people fell asleep, some were studying, some weres till laughing..... haha... so much for respecting prayers. after that, i had a super hard make-up quiz... ADVICE FOR EVERYONE - never be absent... after what i've experienced from make-up tests (especially make-up PT) - it's not worth it even though you get to skip M and R... haha... PE was fun as usual... since we're done with the practical test, all we did was play all period... after that was a very unusual lunch... for the first time in 10 years, it was actually lunch BREAK and not lunch STUDY PERIOD or lunch PRACTICE TIME - thank god. and you know what 2B did in the gym while enjoying the break - we laughed at pronunciation/grammatic errors again... haha.. we're so bad... OH WELL... after that, we had a fun english period... after the uuubber long debate, we finally had the 2 VS 41 (it turned out that 2 people were the highest in the LT) game... haha... sir manaay was so nice.. he gave everyone plus, even the BEATABLES like me... haha. after that was math.. it turns out sir trinidad wasn't there so miss sanches was the sub... uhm, no comment. after that, ms. cabanella suddenly appeared and gave us the quiz... waaaaaaa... d pa ako nagaaral... so nagwala ako.... haha... anyway, nerds being nerds, we studied for 15 mins and we were given the quiz... it wasn't so bad considering i didn't study...

after that was the really UGGGGHHHHH RT practice... damn you SAVITRI! haha... because i didn't want to get mad and emo and weird, i just tried to get everyone to listen and follow by making jokes... i guess it's just my style of getting people to listen... it wouldn't help to shout at them... haha... especially since there are sooo many kontrabidas and smart asses... im not mad. i guess the challenge of being a leader in a pilot class is that some people think that they're too smart to follow. and if not, the remaining people just don't give a damn and complain. i'd love to see them become leaders too see how it would feel to be talking when nobody is listening, to be saying that there's a practice without anyone attending, to be teaching what you've been planning for so long but then everybody is complaining... like what i said, i'm not mad... i'm not even taking it personally. i don't have a grudge against anybody. what's done is done... after all, we did end up having a pretty good practice... thank you for cooperating... i hope we do well on monday! after sabayan, i should already know the challenge of trying to be the leader among leaders. im just saying what i want to say... that's why you have a blog after all... haha...

ANYWAY, after my first pour out session of bad feelings in this blog (haha - eeew naging emo ako), let me go on to the events of this day... well i woke up early to get my injection for my allergies in makati med... nothing special really happened... haha... after that, i went to my nihongo classes... haha, as usualy, funny moments when my older classmates and sensei were making green jokes... haha, it's so fun having older classmates... but then again, i still feel clueless... after missing almost six meetings, haha, well what do you expect?

too lazy to continue... shall continue... sana... someday... haha... syang, ang dami pang nangyari sa bday ni j9.

"is that related to science?" - haha, bsta

hahaha... haven't blogged for almost 2 months now... haha.. i've decided to blog this evening because i'm bored which is ironic considering the bajillion stuff i could do (some of them i really need to do). SO MUCH FOR MY OATH... lesson I learned from this: don't make promises you'll break... especially those you plan to breka easily.. like what i did... haha... what i'll be saying now is: I WILL TRY to blog as much as I can... haha.. with so much homework and other stuffffffffffffsss everyday, i found it really hard to blog... no worries, i'll REALLY DO MY BEST STARTING TODAY! like what i said in my first post, i do need to release... haha

so... a recap of what happened yesterday... hmm... during social, we practiced for the tableau in the theater. ANG INIT DUN AH. during science, we watched a really boring film about photosynthesis... haha..... during PE, we had a really hard practical test... nevertheless, we still got pretty good scores because of the +5 you get if you shoot the shuttlecock into the basket and because of our coach's unpexcted generosity... our grades in PE range from 94-97 (i got 96! yey! thank you shuttlecock for dropping in that basket! :D). we had early lunch because of the tableau practice (AGAIN). anyway, long story short. 2B did really well and won in every contest... if there was an over-all winner award, we would definitely get that. CONGRATS TO ALL WINNERS! after that was the concert... i was deb8ing with myself whether to go or not, but i decided to go anyway kasi nanghihinayang ako dun sa perang bnyad ko. it was for a good cause anyway...

it's for sir abodolies who has kidney failure... i really want him to get well because he was one of the best (as of now, maybe the best) english/reading/language teacher and head teacher i had... i mean, i really undersood what we was teaching (YES, he was one of the teachers who was actually teaching unlike UNFORTUNATELY some teachers -ahem, ahem-) and i really felt it (naks, haha).. F na F ako tuwing english time last year, reciting and participating most of the time... not only was he teaching, he was teaching well... and not only was he teaching well, he was a kind person with a good heart (yes, sa sobrang bait naging redundant pa o)... he really cares for each individual's welfare.. i could really see that he was not merely teaching for the sake of teaching. teachers like him (sadly) are a rare breed. and this is exactly why we need to support him. we should give his future students the oppurtunity to actually learn from his rare breed... haha... GET WELL SOON SIR!

haha.. moving on, well the concert was fine because many 2B people were there and there were lots of food.... but my allergies started to trigger (haha, this always happens when i'm tired and at the same time around many people) and it was FREAKING HOT so i went outside the gym with some 2B people.... before that, i already called my mom to come pick me up... when i stepped outside, it was like... uhm, coming out from a SAUNA. only much much better. so i went home... haha...

moving on to TODAY... haha... woke up early for our debate competition in this school at QC which i forgot. anyway, it was us (CSA Makati) versus CSA Binan... haha.. it was a fight between sister schools... plus they were all girls and we were all boys so it was girls VS boys. and it's a really crucial round because it would determine if we get to go to the final round which would be held in Bagiuo. more importantly (haha), it would determine if we get go to the CMLI convention in Baguio for free or not (that's almost 6000 pesos BTW) because the final rounds is included in the seminar so if we get in, we save 6k pesos... haha... anyway we were debating about the cheaper medicines bill and whether or not it should be passsed... it was a really funny round because our opponent didn't seem to have that much facts adn they were really mataray... the fun started with the interpolations (it's the part of the deb8 when you ask the opponent questions which they need to answer)... i don't know if it will appear funny even if you weren't there... haha... i'll tell the story anyway. we were arguing about predatory pricing (it is when companies try to outdo each other by lowering the prices of their products - kind of like vending in Ragnarok - sorry, random though (haha - missing ragnarok) . for the 2B people, it's similar to the story of ms. cabanella about the McNeneng's thingy wherein they try to outdid each other by lowering the price of the coke (coke ba un?) to the point where they no longer had profit).. bsta un... their side wants to implement the bill, our side disagrees. bsta, long story short, when we asked them what predatory pricing was, the girl who answered said "is that related to science?" and i was like ugh... iwas TOTALLY laughing at my seat.... sorry! no OFFENCEMENT but even if you didn't know what that term is, you'd never consider it being related to science.. HAHA.. SORRY NA....... boring na ba? i'm not sure if talking about debate in blogs is interesting.. ill just find out from you.... because if i were to ommit to this blog, i would be talking about our debates once in a while because THEY'RE REALLY FUNNY AND EDUCATIONAL (yes... haha) at the same time. anyway, long story short again, we won and we get to go for free to Bagiuo on the sembreak. WEEE.. looking forward to CMLI again. :D

after meeting our opponent, allan transported us back to makati (i got dropped off at G4 - thanks for the transpo!) where i met my mom.. my mom was in makati shangri-la because of this St. Lukes alumni thing (she studied there when she was young - haha ilang years ago kaya un?) so I went there and I got free food! yey! haha. i observed her and her friends in college talking and bonding... haha, i hope that when i'm that old, i still get to see my friends in HS and college... though they haven't seen each other for a long time, it's like they never separated... old people (ang sama! haha) bonding isn't very different from the bonding of our generation.. they also laugh a lot... and they're also quite green (haha, believe it or not - i was listening intently while trying hard not to laugh with them)... anyway, i can't believe i enjoyed listening to them talking. LUCKILY, (hahaha), my ninang was there and she gave me crispy doolllaarrsss!$$$$ (WOHOO!!!)... she told me madami na daw siyang utang skin.. haha.. sbagay tgal ko na siyang hndi nkkita noh... loving rich ninangs... yes, haha... anyway, i got home, rested, watched the second episode of GA which i just downloaded (loving the 4th season!), and went to parish involvement... i just remembered that i missed nihongo again today (i have missed 6 meetings already - haaay, so much for my top spot T_T... haha, cause of absences: sabayan, debate and other activities for school... i shouldn't have believed i was capable of doing everthing at once.... haaaaaaay. NOW I REALLY NEED TO GET BACK.. todo KARIR NA ITO!!!)... ANYWAY, i shall be back to blog again soon.. i hope... wow, this post is really long.... if you reached this part, thanks for reading my blog again.....

"Pocari Sweat???!" - matabang tao sa commercial

yey! i'm blogging again! staying loyal to my oath... weee... haha!

so what days did i miss?

thursday - no classes - nothing much happened at home... haha

friday - haha!! very fun day! went out with 2B people and watched Rush Hour 3! but before that...

morning - nothing much happened - it was fr. rodriguez' bday! so we had no classes in the morning (wahaha... commentary & 2 quizzes postponed). it was obvious that the preperations for fr. rector's bday wasn't as much as fr. mazana's... but, o well, we did our best. and then, sabayan practice with 2B people at the 1A place.. haha.. it was kind of disappointing that only almost half of the class came because nothing much happened. and we really need something to happen because we want to prove to someone that we can do good even without him/her (haha) belittling (tama ba?) our capabilities. and of course, to achieve the main goal - to get that trophy for the champions.. so 2B, let's work hard for this. haha... after the sabayan practice, i was put in a dilemma because i still didn't know if i would be going to go with the 2B people.. i was glad i decided to go.. haha... some people catched a ride with me to glorietta, and we met the others at food choices... i think the people present were romano, lisette, jo, jr, jonas, j9, gela, marc, guia, lance, earl and allan (L-haha)... i bought taro quickly (mmm...), tuna plato wrap (DIET?) , and jumbo BBQ fries in potato corner (grabe, haven't eaten fries in a long time - no more diet, haha)... we went to timezone for a bit, then off to taters to buy popcorn and to the movie itself - rush hour 3... HAHA....

so we were a little early for the movie, and a lot of commercials started to show, and this was where the fun began... there was this REALLY weird, senseless, but totally FUNNY one about water... i'm not sure if it was trying to sell itself because its name was POCARI SWEAT..... what?!? it's like...... ten thousands spoons and all you need is a knife - haha... out of the thousands of names you could give a water, why the hell name it with the words POCARI (ang laswa pakinggan, haha) and SWEAT (the last thing you'd want to think of when drinking water) haha... so i researched about it a bit, and this is what i found:

The reference to the bodily fluid resulting from perspiration in the name of the beverage tends to have a certain offputting or humorous connotation for native English speakers . However, the name was chosen by the manufacturers originally for the purpose of marketing the product as a sports drink in Japan, where people generally do not mentally translate names appearing in English and are therefore not bothered by the connotation. It was largely derived from the notion of what it is intended to supply to the drinker: all of the nutrients and electrolytes lost when sweating. (The first part of the name, Pocari, means "like a cloud floating in the sky" or "a situation in which a cloud is floating in the sky" in Japanese, and has a connotation of lightness, buoyancy, and ease. "Sweat" was apparently intended to suggest diligence and its fruits - the idea intending to connote to the user that Pocari Sweat works to make one feel fresh and relaxed. However, some Japanese apparently drop "Sweat" from the name in common usage.)

haha, so that's why! the Japanese couldn't understand the name, so nobody finds it funny there!... still, the commercial itself was really funny! haha...

moving on to the movie... IT WAS SO FUNNY! the funny lines kept on coming! haha i was expeting a movie with many "nakabagdamdaming" action scenes, so i wasn't that thrilled because i don't like action movies a lot... but the 1st scene proved me wrong.. COMEDY movies are my love (i didn't know rush hour 3 was supposed to be comedy - never watched the 1st 2 but planning to now)... and the movie was more comedy than it was action... haha... favorite scenes : French nun - haha, she was so damn funny! she looks a hell lot like Professor McGonagall a.k.a. Maggie Smith (and i thought she was until i read Jo's blog, haha); The one where the chinese girl was first shown - she looks a hell lot like Ka-eun, haha!; GENEVIEVE (haha kahit malaswa); fight scenes (the one in the hospital and in eiffel tower)... and all other scenes i can't remember! haha... it was really really HILARIOUS!

haay.. since im really tired, i'll cut this post. long story short - i went home after DQ.. and slept... haha.. First time to blog! I wanted to try it because honestly, I'm bored, and I'm beggining to worry that my emotions would just burst (haha, as if) if I don't create an "outlet" for it, as mentioned in the commentary yesterday... plus, as they said, it would help improve my writing skills and vocabulary in english... haha, i'll try my best not to commit any grammatical errors! As of now, I'm thinking that the titles of my *hopefully* upcoming blogs would be the funniest thing a person would say (quote) the day I would be blogging. I named the blog not just a letter because my name is Kei, pronounced as K... and often, i have the shortest and simplest name in the crowd... it is of japanese origin BTW, and so it is not a girl's name (this has been questioned many times) :( :D... and well, i just wanted to emphasize that my character and my life isn't composed of just a single letter despite my name... it's full of twists, turns, and variations... (may sense ba? labo noh?)... it was the first thing that came to my mind... haha, anyway, before I narrate what happened today (wee, excited for my first blog), I would like to commit myself to this blog and not leave it unupdated... I'm making an oath ahem, ahem... "I solemnly swear to update this blog even though heaps of homeworks and other work are showering upon me." Hopefully, I will really commit to this... haha...

I'm going to start with my first blog ever (Weee!) with a recap of this week:

Monday - Uhm, it was the birthday of Ms. G. and 2B prepared for it... unfortunately, though i don't understand why, it was assessed as "may kulang pa", and ironically, the one who compalined about it wasn't the celebrator (yes, hindi celebrant nilgay ko!) :D herself... oh well, i don't know how much more we could have prepared anyway... moving on, English was first, we had impromptu... I don't know why, but speech activities make me SOO nervous ever since. I was shaking more this time because my last speech activity last year was uhm... let's just say that's the lowest Speech grade i ever received... haha... I was expecting that I would be called. And so, I was called... I don't remember the exact question, but it was something about humility thingy... anyway, it wasn't a disaster, but i could've done a lot better if i wasn't shaking with fear. After that, Music... Well, SIIGE's always the same - i go to the Music SIIGE room in the gym together with the other 2B SIIGE people, then strain my back for 1 whole hour.. as usual, i feel like i haven't learned anything... Then, CLE... BnB (haha) has not failed to bore me to death yet... Sorry Lord, but I wish you'd given us a less 2nd B and more 1st B teacher that would actually have the power motivate us to learn about you. Peace po tayo :D. and then science.. as usual, competition for recitation points... haha... i never knew that recitation could actually turn us against each other... haha... every time someone would give a wrong answer, someone would laugh and say "ngeeeh".. haha, it's fun anyway! lunch - discovered new food at last! tuna turnover sold at the junk food area.... I NEEDED TO FIND NEW FOOD! ANOTHER SUPERJUMBO HOTDOG ON BUN OR HUNGARIAN SAUSAGE WILL KILL ME! then as usual, chatted with the 2B people hanging out on the stairs... then, filipino which was... uhm... blah... then, math, as usual, I was loud and I couldn't understand the lesson and so i depended on my seatmates to help me... haha... Club - nothing much happened... WHAAT? so much for recap! actually, i just wanted to try to narrate what happends on a normal school day...

ANYWAY, let me fast forward to this day... this day was.. blah.. when i woke up in the morning, i was so frustrated because i slept having studied only 1 page of the computer ASss for the PT and it was raining HARD... i don't blame myself though, 2 out of the 3 AS wasn't explained at all and I couldn't understand anything written on those pages.. haha, cramming before eating breakfast as usual, trying to absorb what was written in those database ASss hoping that classes would be suspended... i was watching umagang kay ganda as usual while eating breakfast, and i suddenly felt "woken up" (labo) because they were saying "no classes" but then got really disappointed as the sentence continued.... "sa Malabon"... sobs... The rain poured in torrents as we left for school while I was still hoping that classes would be suspended.... suddenly, no classes in NCR was announced by someone from DepEd in the radio... i felt so relieved, happy, and mad at the same time.... they wasted the gas of thousands of people in NCR... they could have announced it a little earlier because it was pretty obvious that the rain was hard and that parts of NCR was being flooded. And then, I listened to the radio as parents were texting their frustrations... someone txted, "DepED, and bobo niyo, Department of EDUCATION p nmn ang pangalan ng departamento niyo".. haha, so funny... isn't it ironic? anyway, slept until 10 when i reached home, and this day didn't turn out to be the rest day i expected it to be... I finished the freakin' AVP in Social, made my science AVP, and wrote an article for insights... at around 6:40, people were posting in YM that there were no classes. Desperate for proof, I turned on the TV and listened to the announcement that there is indeed no classes tomorrow. I don't know what to feel... happy because a day to rest ahead of me, or frustrated, having worked my butt off over those stupid AVPs... anyway, i decided to feel happy... (WHAT?)... haha, i decided this because i remembered that i had midterms in nihongo on sat, and no classes tomorrow meant time for me to study... must maintain my top 1 spot in class! 15% discount on tuition is counting on it! (haha, nerd na nerd e)... but actually, nihongo classes are so different from the average academic classes... it's just that i do enjoy studying for nihongo, as opposed to math and computer anyway.... :D

hoping for a peaceful day tomorrow.... wohoo! no classes 2day, no classes tomorrow, half day on friday... life is GOOD! :D
